Occasionally an order you're sure you placed won't show up in the default list. eBay lets you hide individual purchases from your main view, and very old orders can end up archived depending on your account settings. Look for an "archived" or "hidden" toggle near the top of the Purchase History page before assuming the order vanished — it almost never actually disappears, it's just filtered out of the default display.
