If you need to verify a cleared check, track outstanding deposits, or just review your recent cash activity, QuickBooks Online's check register gives you a full transaction history for any bank account. This guide shows you where to find it and how to make sense of what you see. It's especially useful when you need to double-check something before closing the books for the month.
01Open the Chart of Accounts
From the left navigation sidebar, click Transactions, then select Chart of Accounts to see all your bank and asset accounts listed.
02Open the register for your account
Find your checking account row and click View Register on the far right to open its full transaction history.
03Filter by date, type, or amount
Use the filter funnel above the register grid to narrow results to a specific date range, payment type, or text search.
04Understand the status column
