How to Use Bank Feeds in QuickBooks Online, Connect & Access Bank Feed Easily 2026

Manually entering every debit card swipe is a fast way to burn hours and miss tax deductions. This guide shows how to connect a live bank feed in QuickBooks Online and process the incoming transactions once they start flowing.

01Open Bank Transactions

Go to Transactions, then Bank Transactions, to reach your central banking panel.

02Link a new account

Click Link Account, search for your financial institution, and select it from the results.

03Authorize access

Enter your bank login credentials in the secure OAuth window to grant API access.

04Map your accounts

Uncheck any personal profiles, select only business accounts, and map them to the correct line in your Chart of Accounts.

05Review and categorize

Once transactions populate under For Review, use Match to confirm existing entries or Categorize to assign new expense rows.
