By Impran M N
Sometimes an invoice needs backup, like a contract, receipt, or timesheet, sent along with it. This guide shows how to attach a PDF to a QuickBooks Online invoice and make sure it's included when the bill is emailed to your client.
01Open the target invoice
Go to Sales, then Invoices, and open the specific billing document you want to attach a file to.
02Find the attachments section
Scroll to the bottom of the invoice form to locate the Attachments panel.
03Upload your PDF
Click Browse or drag and drop your PDF contract or receipt directly into the attachment area.
04Enable email delivery
Check the box labeled Attach to email next to the uploaded file so it's included when the invoice is sent.
05Send the invoice
Review the customer email and line items, then click Save and Send to deliver the invoice with the PDF attached.
