How to Add Outlook Calendar to Notion, Link & Insert Microsoft Calendar Easily 2025

Start in Outlook's calendar view, where you can switch between Day, Work week, Week, and Month layouts along the top toolbar. The left panel shows a mini month picker and your list of calendars under "My calendars." This is also where you'd add a second calendar if you're tracking more than one, but for a basic Outlook-to-Notion link you just need the calendar you already have selected here.

Open Settings, go to Calendar, then Shared calendars, and scroll to "Publish a calendar." Select the calendar you want to share and choose a permission level — Can view all details is what you want if the goal is a fully functional embedded view rather than just free/busy times. On the new page, type /embed and paste the ICS link you copied from Outlook's Publish a calendar screen. Notion renders it as a live calendar grid right on the page, with the same date navigation you'd expect — a Today button, forward and back arrows, and the current month's days laid out by weekday. Anyone with access to the Notion page can now see your Outlook schedule without needing an Outlook login themselves.

An embedded calendar is most useful sitting next to the work it relates to, so consider adding it as a linked view inside a project dashboard rather than leaving it isolated on its own page. Positioning it beside a Content Calendar or Goals Tracker page lets you glance at deadlines and scheduled events in the same view without switching tabs.

The embed is read-only — you can't create or drag events directly on the Notion page. Continue adding, moving, and deleting events inside Outlook itself, and the ICS-based embed will pick up those changes automatically, typically within a few minutes to an hour depending on how often Outlook's publish feed refreshes.
