Offering a downloadable catalog, portfolio, or e-book doesn't require an external file-hosting service — Webflow's asset manager can host PDFs directly and serve them through its own CDN. This guide covers uploading a document and linking it to a clickable button or text element.
01Open the Assets panel
Click the Assets folder icon in the left-hand sidebar to reach your media library.
02Upload the PDF
Click the cloud upload icon at the top of the tray and select your local PDF file to import it.
03Copy the hosted link
Hover over the newly uploaded file, click its Gear icon, and copy the unique CDN URL.
04Bind it to a button
Select a button on your canvas, open Element Settings, and use the File attachment option with the paperclip icon to map the PDF directly.
05Or link it to text or a link block
