How to Post Scores to Students in Microsoft Forms Easily 2026

By Impran M N

Microsoft Forms keeps quiz scores hidden while you grade to protect academic integrity, so releasing results depends on activating a separate Post Scores step once grading is complete. This guide walks through reviewing submissions, finishing manual grading, and pushing the final scores out to your class.

01Open the Responses tab

Go to your quiz's Responses tab to see the full list of student submissions.

02Review and grade answers

Click Review Answers to audit individual student papers, adjust point values, and add written feedback where needed.

03Return to the Responses screen

Click Back once manual grading is finished for the students you want to release scores to.

04Open Post Scores

Select the Post Scores option to view your class roster and see which profiles are marked as Evaluated.

05Release scores in bulk or individually

Check the master selection box to release to your entire class at once, or select individual students, then click the Post Scores confirmation button.
