ClickUp keeps every workspace completely isolated, so there's no direct drag-and-drop way to shift a Space from one account to another. Instead, you package the Space as a shareable template, generate a public link, and import it into the destination workspace. This guide walks through that template-based transfer so your folders, lists, and tasks carry over cleanly.
01Find the Space you want to transfer
Locate the target Space in your left sidebar, since this is the starting point for turning it into a portable template.
02Save the Space as a template
Open the three-dot menu next to the Space name, go to the Template Center, and choose Save as Template to package all folders, lists, and views.
03Name it and enable public sharing
Give the template a clear internal title and description, then toggle on public sharing so ClickUp generates an external link you can copy.
04Import into the destination workspace
Open a new browser tab, sign into your target workspace, paste the shared link, and use it to select where the imported Space should land.
05Recreate the Space structure
Click Use Template to rebuild the entire Space architecture, including folders, lists, and views, inside the new workspace.
06Verify the migration
Check that task assignees, custom tags, and folder configurations transferred correctly before removing the original Space.
